With Roman Harper gone and Kenny Vaccaro recovering from a serious ankle injury, the Saints could use some help at safety.

Likewise, safety Malcolm Jenkins, a first-round pick of the Saints in 2009, is due to become a free agent on March 11. And safety Rafael Bush will be a restricted free agent.

Enter former Lions safety Louis Delmas. Per a league source, Delmas is visiting the Saints today.

Cut earlier this month by the Lions, the 2009 second-round pick also has visited the Steelers. The Lions would like to re-sign Delmas at a lower rate, but he wants to explore his options first.
