Saints increasing ticket prices

With the Superdome constantly sold out, the Saints could have been raising ticket prices every season.  For three seasons in a row, they hadn’t.

According to Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Saints have sent out a notice to season-ticket holders that, this year, the prices are rising.

It’s the first increase since the Saints won the Super Bowl to cap the 2009 season.

The highest increase will be $10 per game per ticket.  Even with the increases, roughly one third of all tickets will cost $55 or less per game.

The Saints didn’t lose a game at home during the regular season.  They also won their first road playoff game in franchise history.

Arizona is cheaper? But it’s in, you know, Arizona. Glendale to be exact.

Not sure what other seats cost elsewhere…football is football no matter where you are.. Just ask fans in Cleveland AZ and Detroit

Wait until they start losing again, you’ll be lucky to get 40,000 in that dome. Definition of fair weather, their stadium was empty until they won.

    Drew Brees is soft.

    And a midget.

Got to see the Super Dome this year for the Cowboys game. Was in town for a wedding and decided to check it out. Great fans. Friendly and love their chants. The concourse is a little narrow would be my only complaint. That and I still feel weird walking inside for a football game.

I have the cheapest season ticket in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, $17 per ticket per game, including this increase. I own eight season tickets at $1,364 for all eight season tickets, including handling fee. I am pleased with the pricing; it seems reasonable.

Lies, the Saints never won anything under Jim Haslett and sold out 36 consecutive home games leading up to the Katrina year.

He also owns 64 NFL records and a championship ring, has a beautiful wife, 3 adorable kids, more money than he could ever spend and is about 50 times the person you will ever be.

Realnflmaster seems not to know of what he speaks. We showed up even when we were below average. Only time I remember people were done is when Haslett stuck with Brooks and wouldnt start Delhomme when he was the better QB. Regardless this wont push anyone out of their seats. We have more die hards than fair weather fans.

Ya, Ya, Ya, Brooklyn 40 niner. Brees is so soft that last time he played your 49ers he carved that “D” right up. We pretty much doubled the so called great San Fran team in every statistical category there is. Oh and by the way……. Saints won that game buddy……Go pay that BUM Kaepernick 16 million a year and hope for yet another NFC Title Game loss.

I wanted to know if Graham files a grievance to get paid like a wr. Should all his stats be changed to wr. And any records he has broken or will break be compared to wr instead of te.

So you would go faithfully and watch them play as terrible as they did?

    Not cool

  20. sb44champs says: Mar 3, 2014 8:17 AM

Everyone knows that next to Green Bay, no other city supports their team as faithfully as the Who Dat Nation….WHO DAT!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. mancave001 says: Mar 3, 2014 8:22 AM

And Brees is still a whiner, Sean Payoff is still a cheater. Just watch the playoff game against the Eagles and you’ll see.

  22. floratiotime says: Mar 3, 2014 10:03 AM

Don’t let Drew hear this !

  23. slick50ks says: Mar 3, 2014 11:12 AM

    Just another hideous dome.

Oh, and Brees is still a POS.

  24. vtopa says: Mar 6, 2014 2:13 PM

I’m a season ticket holder and have no complaints. They have been fair to fans compared to other teams that gouge their fans with exorbitant prices and PSLs.
