With the Superdome constantly sold out, the Saints could have been raising ticket prices every season. For three seasons in a row, they hadn’t.
According to Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Saints have sent out a notice to season-ticket holders that, this year, the prices are rising.
It’s the first increase since the Saints won the Super Bowl to cap the 2009 season.
The highest increase will be $10 per game per ticket. Even with the increases, roughly one third of all tickets will cost $55 or less per game.
The Saints didn’t lose a game at home during the regular season. They also won their first road playoff game in franchise history.
