The Giants will not tender fullback Henry Hynoski a contract in restricted free agency, a league source told PFT’s Mike Florio on Monday.
However, that doesn’t necessarily close the book on Hynoski’s time in New York. The Giants would like to re-sign Hynoski, but at a lower rate than an RFA tender, PFT has learned.
The 25-year-old Hynoski suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in the Giants’ Sept. 22 loss to Carolina. He has appeared in 30 NFL regular season games with New York, rushing five times for 20 yards and catching 24 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown.
