Report: Jameel McClain to visit Bills

After making the decision to release linebacker Jameel McClain and fullback Vonta Leach last week, Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome left the door open for the players to potentially return to Baltimore.

However, McClain doesn’t plan on waiting around for the invitation to come back.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, McClain has a free agent visit scheduled for Wednesday with the Buffalo Bills. It’s his first visit since being release by the Ravens.

McClain suffered a spinal cord contusion in 2012 but returned to play in 10 games for Baltimore last season. He racked up 52 tackles with a forced fumble.

McClain has spent all six seasons with the Ravens.

Vastly overrated. Ravens should have paid Ellerbee instead of him.

Bills ranked 2nd in rushing, ravens 30th. EJ Manual ranked 4 spots higher than the ravens slinger, threw more TDs than picks, and was sacked 20 times less. The only downside to going there is he’d miss blowing up weak LBs 4 days a week.

It’s nice he is coming to Buffalo however I always cringe when I hear/read this type of story because it seems some FA’s use the Bills as bait to see what other teams might be interested and how much they are offering.

Great dude! Good run stuffer. Hope things work out for him either w/the Ravens or another team. Bills could be a good fit. He went to Syracuse & is a tough upstate NY kinda dude. Best of luck Jameel & hope to see you in purple!

The Bills would be fortunate to get this guy on their roster. Hard worker, solid player, good guy.

Good luck JM from all in Bmore !

Your shtick gets old crown, especially when you are really reaching for an insult like this time. The old phrase “less is more” applies here too.
