PFT Live: Eagles talk with Geoff Mosher, free agent wide receiver preview

The Eagles took a page from Michael Corleone’s playbook last week and took care of almost all their family business in one fell swoop.

They avoided the possibility of losing wide receivers Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin to free agency by signing them to contracts and extended the deals of center Jason Kelce and left tackle Jason Peters to assure continuity on the offensive line. Geoff Mosher of CSN Philly will join Mike Florio on Wednesday’s PFT Live to discuss those moves and what else the Eagles will have on tap this offseason.

Cooper and Maclin may not be part of the free agent crop of receivers, but there will still be plenty of players hitting the market next Tuesday. Florio will preview the group and share some thoughts about where he sees the top members of the class landing when the dust settles.

Jackson put up career numbers yet this clown says he’s at rush if being cut?! He’s not doing sit ups in his driveway nor did he ask for a new contract. He said he thought he deserved more money

The ultimate situation would be if The Eagles could get a real burner at wide out. Someone who commands double coverage at least most of the time. Think about that.

Jackson is earning 10.5M and doesn’t deserve more money. A diva doesn’t need to be limited by push ups to be disruptive.

Still no legit reason to move him
