The Buccaneers added an experienced pass catching tight end on the opening day of the free agent signing period, striking a deal with the Giants’ Brandon Myers, the club said Tuesday.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Myers received a two-year, $4 million deal.

The 28-year-old Myers caught 47 passes for 522 yards and four touchdowns in his lone season with the Giants in 2013. He’s hauled in 158 passes for 1,578 yards and eight TDs in five NFL seasons, the first four of which were with Oakland.

Myers joins Tom Crabtree, Luke Stocker and Tim Wright on the Buccaneers’ depth chart at tight end.
