Follow the money, and the followers for Branden Albert clues

Twitter Announces Plan To Float On Stock Market Getty Images

It already seemed likely that free agent left tackle Branden Albert was headed to Miami.

But he’s not exactly covering his tracks very well in terms of social media.

According to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, Albert has gone on a spree of following Dolphins players on Twitter, adding Ryan Tannehill, Lamar Miller, Brent Grimes and Louis Delmas to his follows.

Granted, he follows some non-Dolphins too. But it just so happens that he signed up for a bunch of guys who happen to play for the team expected to give him a bunch of money in a few hours.

The 2013 Miami Dolphins would have won the AFC East if Dustin Keller didn’t get injured in the pre-season.

2014 will be a good year for Miami fans (unless… there is another rash of injuries).

If this is true and Miami can land one more decent oline in FA the online will be drastically improved. They were at fault during a lot of the snaps last season but Tannehill was responsible for quite a few sacks himself. He needs to work on getting the ball out faster, stepping up in the pocket, and taking off when the pocket collapses. I have a feeling Sherman was a big reason why and I have faith Lazor will be able to get Tannehill back on track.
