Jaguars bring Emmanuel Sanders and Ziggy Hood to visit

The Jaguars are continuing their aggressive approach to free agency, bringing in a pair of Steelers who could fill immediate needs.

According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, the Jags are hosting wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and defensive lineman Ziggy Hood on free agent visits.

Sanders figures to draw plenty of interest after his 67-catch, six-touchdown season last year, which came after the Steelers matched New England’s offer sheet when he was a restricted free agent.

Hood hasn’t lived up to expectations that came with being a first-round pick, but the Jaguars are developing a deeper line (with the addition of Red Bryant), so he could become more of a rotational player.

We still stink…but we are getting better.
Still need more speed and more toughness and of course a qb and offensive playmakers…but we might have a shot at 8-8 next year.

They don’t call it “Jacksonburgh” for nothing.

Seriously, that term has been in play for a while.

    More power to ‘em.

The best you can expect from Hood is a cool name but as long as Sanders doesn’t have any more foot issues he’ll be a good pick up for Jacksonville.
