Two days after releasing him, the Bears have re-signed tight end Dante Rosario.

The move was disclosed in the NFL’s official Thursday transactions.

Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, citing a source, reported the move stemmed from something pertaining to the contract Rosario signed on February 27.

The 29-year-old Rosario played 15 games with Chicago in 2013, starting three. He rejoins Martellus Bennett and Fendi Onobun on the depth chart at tight end.
