Justin Tuck kept giving the Giants chances, but they refused to throw more money at him.

So he’s headed across country.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Tuck gave the Giants a chance to sweeten their offer, and when they declined, he accepted a two-year, $11 million deal from the Raiders.

While it’s a bit of a face-saving move for the Raiders after last night’s embarrassing Rodger Saffold debacle, being so blatantly used as leverage, and then settled for, is kind of embarrassing in its own right.

Tuck should give them the pass-rush they lost when Lamarr Houston went to Chicago, as he’s more of a proven commodity.

The Giants, on the other hand, have proven they won’t blink.
