B.J. Raji will remain with the only team he’s ever played for.
Raji, the free agent defensive lineman who has spent his entire five-year career in Green Bay, has agreed to a new contract with the Packers. It’s a one-year deal for $4 million, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Last year Raji started all 16 games for the Packers, and he’s started all but two over the last four years. The Packers took Raji with the ninth overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft.
Raji was the No. 26 player in our Free Agent Hot 100, and as of early this afternoon he was the fourth-best player available among those who hadn’t signed. Now he’s not available any longer, and he’ll return to Green Bay.
