The Raiders have interrupted their ongoing collection of free agents from other teams to keep one of their own.
Via the Associated Press, safety Usama Young has agreed to terms on a two-year deal. His agent, Andy Simms, announced the deal on Twitter.
Young, who’ll turn 29 on May 8, appeared in 12 games with one start in 2013, his first season with the Raiders. He was placed on injured reserve in December with a neck injury.
Young started his career in New Orleans. After four years with the Saints, he spent two with the Browns. Young has 26 career regular-season starts and eight career interceptions.
