Henry Melton is dealing with a lawsuit after allegedly biting a man in Dallas, but he’s leaving town in search of a new team
Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that defensive tackle Henry Melton will go from visiting the Cowboys (and being sued for allegedly taking a bite out of a Dallas bar owner) to visiting the Rams.
Melton is coming off of a torn ACL and would join Kendall Langford and Michael Brockers on the interior of a good Rams defensive line. He’s also visited the Vikings and Seahawks while also drawing some interest from the Bears and others.
Melton is expected to keep talking with other teams as his tour of NFL teams continues in St. Louis.
UPDATE 9:42 a.m. ET: An earlier version of this post included Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports’ report that defensive end Anthony Spencer is also visiting the Rams. LaCanfora has withdrawn that report, making it twice in the last few days that Spencer has erroneously been linked with St. Louis.
