The Redskins have shown interest in an offensive lineman who made multiple starts at multiple interior positions in 2013.

Colts offensive guard/center Mike McGlynn visited the Redskins on Wednesday, a league source told PFT’s Mike Florio.

The 29-year-old McGlynn started 11 games at right guard and three games at center in 2013 for Indianapolis. McGlynn (6-4, 325) has appeared in 67 regular season games since entering the NFL in 2008, starting 48. He has played for the Eagles (2008-2010), Bengals (2011) and Colts (2012-2013).

McGlynn would add to the Redskins’ depth at guard and center, two positions where Washington could use another contributor or two. The Redskins released starting center Will Montgomery last week.

Not much to get excited about.

He was a decent center for the Colts in his 3 starts (in comparison to the dumpster fire that was Satele’s play), his guard play, not so much.

As a colts fan I’d advise not starting him if you want rg3 healthy.
