The Raiders have reportedly adjusted quarterback Matt Schaub’s compensation for 2014.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders have reduced his base salary. Per NFLPA data, Schaub was scheduled to make $10 million in 2014.

Schaub now carries a lower salary-cap number for this season, Schefter reported.

There are varying estimates on Schaub’s earning potential for the next two seasons. According to Schefter, Schaub can make anywhere from $15-20 million, while NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reports that Schaub’s total compensation can range from $13-21 million.

The Raiders acquired Schaub from Houston on Friday for a 2014 sixth-round pick. He will start for Oakland this season, coach Dennis Allen has said.
