Free agent defensive lineman Alex Carrington has found his new home, in St. Louis.

Carrington has agreed to a deal with the Rams, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The 26-year-old Carrington has played his entire four-year NFL career with the Bills. Last year he started the first three games of the season but suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week Three.

Although Carrington hasn’t made a huge impact so far in his NFL career, he’s a good athlete at 6-foot-5 and 301 pounds who has plenty of potential and drew plenty of interest in free agency, with the Browns, Steelers and Raiders all reportedly extending him offers. The Rams got a player who could be a significant presence on their defensive line.
