Redskins re-sign CB E.J. Biggers

Quintin Demps, E.J. Biggers AP

The Redskins are bringing back a defensive back who started five games for them in 2013.

Washington has re-signed cornerback E.J. Biggers, a league source tells PFT’s Mike Florio. The 26-year-old Biggers started one game at free safety and four contests as an extra defensive back a season ago.

Biggers (6-0, 185) has appeared in 61 games (29 starts) in five NFL seasons, defending 30 passes and recording four picks. He played for the Buccaneers for four seasons (2009-12) before joining Washington.

“what is handcuffing them? his low salary?”

Maybe the 3 first and one second rounder they gave up traded for him?

The more people talk about a playet (i.e. rg3), shiws how good they actually are. Nobody cares about a bad player. Jealously is a bad thing.

Yep. They’re jealous because he was ROY in 2012 and led them to division title. Yeah…what a waste/handcuff.

Uhh, actually it was only 2 first rounder and a second hero they upgraded their pick and lost 2 1st rounders and a 2nd. And sonfar they got a division title, a ROY winner and a bad season cause of a horrible surrounding cast who couldnt play in the CFL, cause they had no room to spend? Oh ya but its this 24 year old/second year player coming off of major knee surgery’ s. Your an idiot lol. Maybe their bad season has something to do with the YEARS of horrible decisions and a stupid cap penalty…clown
