A busy free agency afternoon for late March continues.

The Titans have struck a two-year, $6 million agreement with Broncos defensive end/outside linebacker Shaun Phillips, Mike Garafolo of Fox reports.

Phillips (6-3, 255) notched 10 sacks for Denver in 2013. He will likely play outside linebacker in Ray Horton’s defense, which employs a base 3-4 front.

Phillips has recorded 508 tackles and 79.5 sacks in 10 NFL campaigns. He played for San Diego for nine seasons (2004-2012) before joining Denver last April. Phillips turns 33 in May.

Phillips’ agreement with the Titans leaves no unsigned or untagged members among PFT’s top 50 free agents. Cowboys outside linebacker Anthony Spencer (No. 65) is the top unsigned player in PFT’s rankings.

Good signing by the Titans. I bet Phillips was hoping to get more money when he went on the market. Hopefully he gives the team a pass rush it desperately needs.

he thought he got a ring with the broncos last season.

Good for him, Titans got a good football player, Broncos fans will miss him only after one year.

He came to the Broncos as a role player but ended up playing a much bigger role. He stepped up and did all that was asked of him. Titans are getting a very good player at a good price. He’ll still have a 10+ sack season.

Take the Chargers off the tag list, we’ve moved on from this guy.

Showed up in the regular season all the time not so much in the post season though… Good player with the ability to get double digit sacks

But keep the Chokers on the stupid list because they still haven’t moved on from Philip (Cry Me A) Rivers. I guess (Cryin’) Ryan Leaf didn’t want to come back. Too ashamed of the empty trophy case.

he’s a good signing, who would of thought that the broncos would be soo lucky to loose dumervil in a fiasco. Have phillips save our ass for one season, and then ultimately come out on top by signing Ware. Really got lucky on that, anyway i guess the titans like our sloppy seconds lol

I love the confidence Denver fans have. Even after being embarrased the way they were. I wouldn’t size that ring yet.

Phillips obviously has some good years left, not sure why San Diego didn’t try to keep him and play him in rotation instead of picking up patchwork guys
