Shaun Phillips visiting the Titans today

Shaun Phillips was a solid one-year fill-in for the Broncos, a productive bridge between Elvis Dumervil and DeMarcus Ware.

Now, he’s trying to find a job of his own.

According to Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.com, Phillips is visiting the Titans today.

Phillips has plenty of experience in a 3-4 defense from his days with the Chargers, and is coming off a very good 10.0-sack season with the Broncos.

The Titans have been looking at a number of free agent linebackers, but the 32-year-old would be a good fit.

  1. But only got a hit ,pressure or sack on just 10.6% of the times he rushed the passer..the Titans can get that out of Ayers in a 3-4 or by drafting Anthony Barr for much cheaper.

  2. He will always be the other guy. Genius sold his soul to elway for dog scraps. Go become even more obsolete in Tennessee, traitor.

  3. Kind of surprised the Giants aren’t going after him unless he’s really looking for a lot of money. I know they picked up a few LBs in free agency but I’ve heard for a few years now about how awful their linebacking corps is and they were desperate enough to trade for and now re-sign Jon Beason at his age.

What in the world are you talking about? How is he a traitor again? You have no clue what you are talking about. SD didn’t want him and had undervalued him for years. He took thatt deal last year to try and win a championship. Get a clue.

  5. Was pissed the Bolts didn’t resign him. Was more pissed he signed with the Broncos. But glad he’s getting some love from teams out there still. Who would’ve thought he would last longer than Merriman? Oh well.
