Danieal Manning was released by the Texans today, and he’s taking it about as well as anyone could ever take losing his job.

“I’m dealing with it great,” Manning told FOX 26 in Houston. “Both parties agreed to disagree. It’s nothing personal. I’m really not upset at all. . . . To be honest I’m actually kind of happy. We all came to an agreement. There’s no bad blood.”

Manning said he enjoyed his time in Houston and will miss the local fans.

“I would like to thank them for all of their support,” Manning said. “These fans embraced me. They made me feel at home every time. Those guys will be missed. I wish I could bring them with me where ever I go.”

Handling his departure with class will ensure that those Houston fans continue to feel the same way toward Manning.
