The Redskins are scheduled to meet with wide receiver DeSean Jackson on Monday and Tuesday, which would seem to give them a good shot at landing the former Eagle for their 2014 roster.
Mike Florio and Rich Tandler of CSN Washington will discuss that possibility during Monday’s edition of PFT Live. They’ll discuss how much the Redskins are willing to spend to bring Jackson into the fold as well as reports of previously unreported interest from teams that are working to land Jackson even as he prepares to visit with Washington.
The Jets were initially thought to be in the mix for Jackson after adding quarterback Michael Vick to an offense run by former Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, but things haven’t played out that way. There is reportedly interest in running back Chris Johnson, however, and Florio will also welcome Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News to the program to talk about where the Jets are headed next.
