Bengals fullback Orson Charles arrested

orson_charles

Bengals fullback Orson Charles made a good impression in camp last year, but not last night.

According to WKYT, Charles was booked into the Madison County Detention Center on charges of wanton endangerment. There were no other immediate details of the charges.

The former fourth-round pick has caught nine passes in two years, but showed some promise as an H-back type player in the past.

Of course, depending on how wanton the endangerment actually is, the Bengals might not have as much patience with him as they would a more prominent member of the roster.

Time to reset the arrest meter.

They should have kept John Conner instead of him last year anyway. Doing anything dumb enough to get himself arrested ought make the decision to trade him out for a real FB all that much easier.

    That’s the 43rd arrest of a Bengal’s player since 2000. #Tradition.

I’ll admit it. I had to look up the definition of “wanton endangerment”. I must be out of the criminal justice loop; never heard of the term. But now I know so I can cross it off the list…

Mike Brown loves this, now he can redo his contract and make him play for less.

“Bengals” and “arrested” go together like peanut butter and jelly or cereal and milk.

Still not sure how he beat out Conner at FB. Some other politics at play there.

Dang it! This dude was actually a pretty sick player! Could clear people out on blocks but was very athletic with soft hands. Choice tight end for Georgia Bulldawgs

Wanton Endangerment is when a person knows that he/she is doing something that could cause harm to others and does it anyway. It’s also known as criminal recklessness.

Apparently he was brandishing a firearm in a road rage incident. Cut him, you don’t need tough guys driving around pointing guns at people.

The whole team should have been arrested for tarnishing the image of the afcn in the playoffs.
