Chris Harris will remain in Denver.

Harris, a restricted free agent cornerback, signed his tender today. That means he’ll play the 2014 season for the Broncos at a salary of $2.187 million.

“I’m just glad to get it over with and be able to know I’ll be here one more year,” Harris told the team’s website. “I’m definitely happy. This is where I want to be and to be able to play here another year, I’m all in to be a leader on the defense and get us back to the Super Bowl.”

Harris was a starter for the entire 2013 regular season but suffered a torn ACL in the divisional round of the playoffs and missed the AFC Championship Game and the Super Bowl. If Harris makes a complete recovery he’ll start opposite Aqib Talib this season.

I am sure Denver fans feel so good to hear Harris say he is “all in to be the leader of the defense and get them back to the Super Bowl.”

What they would prefer to hear is to get back and WIN the Super Bowl as opposed to getting their azz handed to them by 5 touchdowns.

probably the two best players to come out of kansas university in the past decade will be the starting corners for the broncos.

BEST NICKEL CORNER IN THE LEAGUE, and still highly effective on the outside

I am actually hoping kayvon webster makes a big jump this year to allow chris harris to stay at nickel. Lets not forget, harris is coming off a late season ACL, cant imagine him being ready to take 60 snaps a game at the start of the season

Harris will start on the outside in the base, and then slide inside to the slot in nickel situations, with Webster replacing him on the outside. That’s exactly how they did it in 2013.

Donald doesn’t seem like a football owner, even though he owned that USFL team way back when.

He should buy a synchronized swim team.

Broncos should be worried about when he can play. He tore that knee up late in the season. I’d rest him until atleast December.
