PFT Live: Jared Allen, Browns talk with Mary Kay Cabot

After years with the Vikings, defensive end Jared Allen will be playing for another NFC North team in 2014.

Allen signed with the Bears after visits with a few other teams and he’ll join Mike Florio on Wednesday’s edition of PFT Live to discuss the reasons why he wound up in Chicago. Allen said that he didn’t want to sign with a team just to cash checks, so we’ll see what about the Bears led him to believe they’ll be contenders in the near future and get some details about the clandestine wooing that the Bears did before signing Allen.

Florio will also welcome Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer to the show to discuss the Browns. Their reported interest in DeSean Jackson has been rendered moot by the wideout’s deal with the Redskins, so we’ll find out where the Browns will look next for upgrades to their roster. We’ll also see what’s in the works for the draft when Cabot drops by the show.

It all gets started at noon ET and you can watch it all live by clicking right here.

Mary Kay Cabot should literally be the last person you talk to about the Browns. She is the most disconnected “insider” we have. Her recent track record of getting everything wrong is unprecidented.

The only reason why he picked the bears is so he could play the pathetic green bay left tackle twice a year!
