Bears agree to one-year deal with Eben Britton

The Bears are bringing back one of their top reserve offensive linemen from a season ago.

The club announced it had a reached a one-year contract with offensive tackle Eben Britton, who appeared in 13 games for Chicago in 2013.

According to Pro Football Focus, Britton played 239 snaps on offense in 2013, including a season-high 48 in the season-ending loss to Green Bay.

A second-round pick of the Jaguars in 2009, the 26-year-old Britton has made 34 career starts. He played four seasons for Jacksonville (2009-2012) before joining Chicago.
