Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell talks to Mike Florio about the acquisition of WR Golden Tate and the Lions’ run strategy for the 2014 season.
Not sure how this guy gets a job after a 2-14 season. Oh yeah I forgot, He’s Tony Dungy’s lapdog.
Caldwell is in a tough spot because the perception is that the Lions have enough talent to win now. His QB has regressed the last 2 years in a row, and flexibility salary cap wise is tough because a huge amount of money is tied up in Stafford Suh and Calvin Johnson. It isn’t really fair, but I think if he doesn’t win this year, there will be a housecleaning-again- top to bottom.
