Redskins bring Rob Jackson back again

The Redskins must have a thing for giving Jacksons a second chance this week

The team announced they had re-signed outside linebacker Rob Jackson Friday afternoon.

He had 2.0 sacks for them last year, after returning from a four-game suspension.

He’s been a serviceable edge rusher in the past (4.5 sacks in 2012), and he gives them some experienced depth behind Ryan Kerrigan and Brian Orakpo.

Great depth. Thought he was a done deal in Oakland– glad that’s not true.

Kind of lights a fire under Orakpo too. Contract year!

Good signing if at a discounted price.

Glad to have him back! Mr. Allen, and coach Gruden, and their staffs are doing a great job in FA, note that the BS cap penalty is gone!
Rob Jackson is a pretty good backup for Rak and Kerrigan, and a veteran to help Jenkins learn in his second year with the team!

Great signing. Good we waited to and got him cheaper instead of signing him earlier on.

I’ve liked Rob ever since that interception of Romo that won the division and sent us to the playoffs in 2012. Welcome back Rob!!! HTTR!!!

And people complain when Dallas does this….Heck, people complain when Dallas does pretty much anything!

That’s a good move. The guy was a stud when he filled in for Rak two years ago. I’d actually prefer to trade Rak keep Jackson and the cap space

The Redskins’ embarrassment of riches is always growing. Every good player wants to play for the Redskins but only the very best get that honor. #RedskinsAretheClassoftheNFLEveryYear

Guess we’re putting a lot of faith in the whole “Shanny was holding me back” theory. Hopefully the draft will bring some more help on D…we need some safeties!!

I’m waiting for the the people who want the Skins to change their name suggest that we change it to the Jacksons since we signed 2 of them this week.

Jenkins has been strong for us. Glad to keeps. Him in the fold. Need that depth bad. He’s a great backup for Rak and Kerrigan came up huge in some key moments for us when Rak was gone. I love what we’ve been able to bring in this offseason. Loved it before wr got DJax that was the icing on the cake. Draft needs to be good too. I expect RTT@ pick 34 unless a stud safety drops or or Ryan Shazier is available still. HTTR!!!
