It’s time for another mock draft, for no particular reason

Draft Getty Images

The draft is still more than a month away.  Which means that something needs to fill the void.

Which means let’s pretend the draft is now.

It’s out first mock draft since before free agency began.  Now that needs have been filled and/or created, it makes sense to take a fresh look at the situation.

Then again, none of this ever makes a whole lot of sense.  But that doesn’t stop us or anyone else from doing it.

Packers aren’t taking a CB in round 1.
    No way.
Not sure anyone will take a CB in round 1.

If the Panthers do not get a receiver in the first the will go OL. DB is not happening in the first 3 rounds.

The reason mock drafts are made, Mike, is so that us in the peanut gallery can mock those who are making them.

    Didn’t you get the memo?

Attila the Hun plundered Metz on this day in 451. This is a mock draft in recognition of that event.

I can see no way that all 4 of the noted Qb’s are going in the top 11. I think that every team picking after that would love for it to happen, but I don’t think these teams up top are that stupid. When you have an NFL analyst a month ago saying that Ryan Nassib is more talented than any of these guys you have to assume that other NFL teams possibly see the same thing.

    I say 1, maybe 2, Qb’s are drafted in the top 11.

If Ebron’s available at 12 no way he gets past the Giants

Still think PFT should have Jace Amaro on to explain why he thinks he is better than Ebron.

Yes – I’d agree that Demarcus Ware is ” getting close to the end of his run in Dallas”

It’s that perceptive commentary that keeps me coming back here ;-)
