Former Green Bay Packers tight end is still on the road toward getting medical clearance after an injury to his spine and neck last season.

According to Josina Anderson of ESPN.com, Finley is set to have another X-ray performed on Thursday with an MRI expected within the next two weeks. A league source confirmed the timeline and tests to PFT.

The results of the scans will be sent to Pittsburgh Steelers team doctor Joseph Maroon for further analysis. Maroon performed the spinal fusion surgery on Finley.

Several teams remain interested in Finley if he’s able to get medical clearance. The Seattle Seahawks hosted Finley on a free agent visit earlier this offseason and may still be one of the teams interested.
