The Chargers have retained an offensive lineman pressed into service at all three interior line positions a season ago.

The club announced Wednesday it had re-signed Rich Ohrnberger to a one-year contract. The 6-foot-2, 300-pound Ohrnberger appeared in 13 regular season games in 2013 for San Diego, making one start at right guard. However, he also played at left guard and center for San Diego.

The 28-year-old Ohrnberger has appeared in 31 regular season games (five starts) in his NFL career. He has also played for the Patriots (2009-2011) and Cardinals (2012). Ohrnberger was a fourth-round selection of New England in 2009.

Tom Telesco has done a great job getting his guys signed and adding what pieces he could given the salary cap situation he was given by somebody……..who works for another team now.

Ohrnberger is a valuable guy to have on the roster because he can play all of the interior positions on the line if he had to.
