Jim Kelly completes first round of chemotherapy

EJ Manuel, Jim Kelly

Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly has completed his first round of chemotherapy.

Jill Kelly wrote on Twitter that her husband’s first round of chemo is done.

The Kelly family has been open about the challenges Jim has faced since he was diagnosed with oral cancer. Kelly has revealed that he will have two more rounds of chemotherapy in the next six weeks, and he will also have daily radiation treatments.

Kelly’s doctor has described his cancer as “very treatable and potentially curable.”

In his playing days, Kelly used to say that he didn’t feel like he was in the game until that first hit. Now he’s had that first hit, here’s hoping for the long road to health ahead. Keep fighting! Love ya, Jimbo! Go Bills!

Canibus oil kills cancer cells. Think about it. But they would rather put him on chemo.

If anyone can beat cancer, its him. Will and determination are just as important in the process as any medical solution. Once the brain gives up, the body subconsciously goes with it. Going by everything I know about Jim Kelly, hes a fighter. I wish him nothing but success in these hard times.. Keep fighting Jim!!

Hell, thy name doth begin with, C.

Then again, so does the most prescribed “cure”.

    Keep fighting, Jim.
