Bills sign punter Jake Dombrowski

Bills Dombrowski

The Buffalo Bills have signed a new punter to compete with incumbent Brian Moorman.

The Bills announced Wednesday the team has signed former Harvard University punter Jake Dombrowski.

Dombrowski appeared in 31 game for Harvard from 2009-2012 with 146 punts for 5,839 yards. He was named first-team All-Ivy League as a senior in 2012.

The Bills released Moorman three games into the 2012 season and replaced by Shawn Powell. The Bills elected to reverse course last season and re-signed Moorman in October and releasing Powell.

However, Buffalo is still looking into younger, and therefore cheaper, options at punter.

Dombrowski doesn’t have any NFL experience outside of a tryout with the Jacksonville Jaguars during their rookie mini-camp last April.
