Bills visit with Odell Beckham

Odell Beckham Jr. AP

The Bills hosted LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham on a pre-draft visit on Thursday, the club said.

The 21-year-old Beckham hauled in 59 passes for 1,152 yards and eight touchdowns in 2013 for the Tigers. He declared for the draft after his junior season. Beckham averaged 178.1 all-purpose yards in final season in Baton Rouge.

The Bills have the No. 9 overall pick in Round One and also select ninth in Round Two (No. 41). They have selected three wide receivers on the second day of the draft in the last two years, taking Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin in 2013 and T.J. Graham in 2012.

The Bills also met with Cumberlands (Ky.) running back Terrance Cobb and Rice cornerback Phillip Gaines on Thursday.

Great WR prospect, but not at #9. Only really an option if we trade down, since it’s unlikely he makes it to the Bills’ pick in the 2nd round.

No way he’s there in the 2nd unless they trade back into the first. I really hope they aren’t thinking of taking him at 9

Good prospect, but not at 9. It might end up being exactly like last year, when the Bills traded back to grab EJ Manuel and a second pick was in hand. I can see them following the same formula to get this kid inked. Go Bills!!!!

A Bills fan acting like getting embarrassed in four straight Super Bowls is something to be proud of.

When another team goes to 4 straight Super Bowls I’ll give them all the props in the world. Until then bills will always be remembered for doing so. Do you have a team or just like bashing buffalo?

4straight Super Bowls is a tremendous accomplishment, no matter win or lose. They were a model of consistency that will never be seen again in the nfl.
