The Bills waived defensive end Kourtnei Brown on Thursday, the NFL disclosed in its transactions.

Buffalo had signed Brown to a reserve/future contract on January 14. He spent training camp and the preseason with the Bills last summer before being waived on August 30. He recorded four tackles in two preseason games.

A Clemson product, the 25-year-old Brown had stints with San Francisco and Washington (practice squad) in 2012. He signed with the 49ers two years ago after going undrafted.

Now this Kourtnei Brown’s nickname had to have been “Even Quieter Storm.”

I thought out of all the backup DE’s, that Brown would have been one of the guys that made the team. He will end up making it on a roster before training camp starts. I wouldn’t be surprised if Buffalo resigned him again within the next few weeks. Backup DE’s are always needed on this team.

They would have kept him if his last name was “Williams”

If he doesn’t have any other nfl calls, i hope he returns to the AFL’s Spokane Shock. Would love to see him on a DL in spokane that has failed to create a lot of pressure this year.
