The Washington Redskins have already made improving their wide receiver corps a significant focal point this offseason with the signings of DeSean Jackson and Andre Roberts.

Despite the new additions, the Redskins are still looking into free agent pass catchers.

According to Howard Balzer of KSDK.com, former New England Patriots receiver Austin Collie had a tryout with the Redskins.

After missing almost all of the 2012 season due to injures, Collie re-surfaced with the Patriots last season and appeared in seven games. Collie started one game and caught six passes for 63 yards in the regular season for New England. He added five catches for 72 yards in two postseason games as well.

With Jackson, Roberts, Santana Moss, Pierre Garcon, Leonard Hankerson, David Gettis and Aldrick Robinson all under contract, Collie would likely be fighting for a roster spot if signed.
