McNabb’s arrest relates to traffic citation

Yes, former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb has been arrested in Arizona.  The details of the arrest remain largely vague.

Via, the arrest relates to a “criminal traffic” situation.  The incident apparently occurred on January 6, with an arraignment on January 15.

The list of court dates shows three different “change of plea” entries.  It’s possible there was only one change of plea, and that the hearing relating to the change of plea was postponed twice.

Trial is set for May 16, 2014.  It remains unclear what McNabb allegedly did.

His statement after arrest was “5 will always love you”.

He probably choked when the police stopped him.

No biggie. I’m sure he laughed it off, like any other unsuccessful play.

Listen to all the Eagle fans talk about the best QB their team has ever had.

All your talk of domination over the Giants, your glory years, the NFC Championships, etc… Was because of Donavan. And now look at you guys…

I thought he was arrested for his time impersonating an NFL QB.

Like Coach McCarthy always says, “Something happens once they put that purple jersey on.”

As an Eagles fan…I must say you guys are a disgrace. Show some appreciation for the only reason you had a reason to cheer for 10 years. Had they drafted Ricky Williams like most of you wanted, they would have had a decade of .500 football like the rest of the morbid division.

Yeah, Philly fans should be more like NY Giants fans – support your players through thick and thin, never booing or questioning a player’s performance or effort. God bless those gentle souls in NY.

All that money for a guy who never won a super bowl AND got arrested… This guy loves to throw stones, but he lives in a gigantic glass house.

What makes you think it’s eagles fans are making the comments??? I’m as big an eagles fan as anyone and enjoyed mcnabbs time here. At least we had a chance.

I get the McNabb hate…if you’re from around Philly you can’t help but hear the stories about how much of a whiner this guy is and he’s very hypocritical.

However, I think Eagles fans need to take inventory of their success. This guy gave you guys a decade of success with little to no help at receiver. As soon as they got an elite one, they went to the Superbowl. So what he didn’t win a championship? I don’t know if you’ve guys looked at the cobwebs in your trophy case recently but nobody has.

make him serve out his sentence by being the Vike’s starting QB for a season.

    4th and 26…..

Was this after the first overtime period because he still had another 15 minutes to prove his innocence, right?

least professional player of our time

and, IMO, a disgusting phoney human being
