The lead-up to the NFL’s official release of its 2014 regular season schedule on Wednesday night has been marked by multiple unofficial releases of games slated to be played

In the case of the Detroit Lions, we have the makings of an entire schedule to study before the official announcement.

The Lions’ 2014 schedule, as reported by Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, includes a Thanksgiving Day game with Chicago (November 27). It also includes divisional matchups on the road to finish the season, with games at Chicago and Green Bay in Weeks 16 and 17, respectively.

The Lions open with the Giants on Monday, September 8, as was reported earlier on Wednesday by WFAN in New York.
