Saturday morning one-liners

Whaley AP

No one can make a hard right turn in logic faster than former Bears coach Mike Ditka: “Football and basketball bring a lot of money to the university. Skip Bayless has been lobbying for Manziel to be drafted by every team in the league. If they don’t, he threatens they shall “rue the day.”
His past protégés have included Vince Young and Tim Tebow. Bayless is a creepy, little man.

After reading through that mock JJ Watt negotiation I have to say I was pretty shocked at the agent’s response at the end with a thank you and we’ll get back to you shortly. I would have said this deal sucks, try again, I can’t take this to my client or he’s going to fire me so help me out or I’m dead anyhow!

Nice to see something almost positive about Tyson Alualu after all the grief he got in the media when the Jags took him over the urban legend known as Tim Tebow. Looks like the Jags got that right after all!

Didn’t know Adam Vinitieri was a gun nut. I’ll be rooting against him from here on out.
