Bills unveil specific plans for variable pricing

Medals

Now that the 2014 schedule has been unveiled, teams using variable pricing in 2014 can set the prices for their various homes games.

According to Mark Gaughan of the Buffalo News, the Bills have adopted a three-tier, Olympic-style plan for the team’s eight homes games.

The gold games, with prices ranging from $68 to $130 per seat, land on September 14 against the Dolphins and October 12 against the Patriots.

The silver games, at $58 to $112, come on September 21 (Chargers), October 19 (Vikings), November 23 (Jets), and December 14 (Packers).

Two bronze games appear on the calendar, with prices ranging from $48 to $99: November 9 (Chiefs) and November 30 (Browns).

The decision to relegate the Packers game to Silver status is a little surprising, but since it will be played in the last month of the season when the Bills are potentially out of the running for a playoff spot, it makes sense.

It also could make it cheaper for Packers fans to gobble up unsold seats and to overrun Ralph Wilson Stadium.
