For the second straight year, the NFL will hold its Sports Journalism and Communications Boot Camp for current and former players, the league said Tuesday.
The program, held from May 12 through May 15 at Bowling Green State University, focuses upon the writing skills utilized in a variety of media careers. Activities include covering a Toledo Mud Hens baseball game.
Expert panelists and facilitators for the four-day session include Peter King of The MMQB and NBC’s “Football Night in America.”
Twenty-three players are slated to participate: Raheem Brock, Tony Covington, Carey Davis, Rashied Davis, Arturo Freeman, Barrett Green, Boomer Grigsby, Derek Hagan, Darcy Johnson, Corey Mays, Randy McMichael, Langston Moore, Moran Norris, Peerless Price, Marcus Ray, Jay Richardson, Dunta Robinson, Sage Rosenfels, Steve Sanders, Donte’ Stallworth, Duane Starks, Max Starks and Tank Williams.
