Falcons worked out Dan Connor

Tennessee Titans v Carolina Panthers

Tennessee Titans v Carolina Panthers

Streeter Lecka

Linebacker Dan Connor faced the Falcons many times while he was with the Panthers and now he’s trying to get a job in Atlanta.

PFT has learned, via a league source, that Connor worked out for the Falcons.

Connor split last season between the Giants and Panthers, playing six games and recording four tackles. He started eight games for the Cowboys as an injury replacement for Sean Lee in 2012 and played 42 games for the Panthers in his first stint with the team.

If he winds up in Atlanta, Connor would be joining a team that’s being a bit coy about their intentions when it comes to running a 4-3 or 3-4 defense. There’s a good chance that the Falcons will wind up running a variety of looks, with Connor competing for reserve snaps on the inside with the likes of Akeem Dent and Joplo Bartu.
