Indianapolis Colts cornerback Greg Toler is being held out of the team’s offseason workout program as recovers from offseason hernia surgery.

According to Mike Wells of ESPN.com, Toler says he’s “fully healthy” but the Colts training staff is taking a cautious approach to his recovery anyway.

“I think the trainers want to slow roll me back into going full speed since I haven’t really done anything since Week 10. I only know one meter, and that’s go,” Toler said.

Toler appeared in just nine games for the Colts last season. After playing the first seven weeks, he was sidelined for the next seven games due to a hamstring injury. He returned to the lineup for the final two games of the regular season and Indianapolis’ playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, Toler re-injured the hamstring in the game and was placed on injured reserve.

Toler finished last season with 23 tackles and one interception.
