Seahawks sign cornerback A.J. Jefferson

With the big money the Seahawks are giving and will give to their secondary, they need some cheaper parts to fill in the blanks.

They’ve apparently found one in A.J. Jefferson.

According to a tweet from his agent Ken Sarnoff, Jefferson has signed with the Seahawks.

The Vikings released Jefferson in November after his arrest on domestic assault charges, and he finished the year with the Browns, landing on injured reserve with an ankle problem.

He worked out for the Seahawks last week, so they must have been convinced he can contribute to one of the league’s best secondaries.
