As a rookie, Vikings receiver and return man Cordarrelle Patterson was a phenomenal playmaker, scoring seven touchdowns on offense and also being the NFL’s All-Pro kickoff returner. But Patterson says you ain’t seen nothing yet.

At the Vikings’ minicamp, Patterson said he was disappointed with himself as a rookie because he thinks it took him too long to figure out what it takes to be an NFL player. Patterson believes that with his rookie year under his belt and a full offseason of work, he’s going to be significantly better in 2014.

“I think I was kind of bad last year. This year will be way better,” Patterson told ESPN.

Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner says he has big plans for creative ways to get the ball into Patterson’s hands, and that Patterson seems to be picking everything up. A “way better” Patterson could be a scary thought for the rest of the NFC North.
