Our draft previews march on with a look at the Saints

With Sean Payton back on the sidelines, and Drew Brees still under center, the Saints bounced back in a big way last year.

But they are not a team without issues.

After improving from the worst defense in the history of the league to an actually good unit, they shed several veterans early in the offseason.

And they have some vacancies to fill on offense, though the combined acumen of Payton and Brees can help cover those a little longer.

That leaves them with several questions to answer next week. You can read the full preview by clicking right here, and vote in the poll below on what you think their biggest need is.

They should either go for Verett or an edge rusher in the first. A guy like Brandon Coleman will be available later. Definite sleeper at 6’6″ 230 with 4.5 speed. He would fit the Saints offense perfectly. A scatback type like Carey in the middle rounds is a need. Center like Stork later. This draft is well deep enough for the Saints to start to reload.

Allen Robinson in the 2nd round would be perfect.

Jerimiah Attaochu sounds like the name and sound that infects you with MERS.

An actually good unit? You mean 4th ranked in yards and points. I think they were better than good. I just wish the D would have scored some points.

    I agree with Mosley, too.

Saints won’t make the playoffs. Ask the Ravens about losing good veteran talent. Falcons will bounce back.
