The NFL invited 30 players to the draft. Twenty-one were drafted on Thursday night.

When the proceedings reconvene on Friday, nine will be back.

They are quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (pictured), defensive lineman Kony Ealy, defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman, tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, receiver Cody Latimer, receiver Marqise Lee, tackle Morgan Moses, receiver Jordan Matthews, and center Marcus Martin.

Defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan, who initially was scheduled to attend but who canceled after generating a diluted sample at the Scouting Combine, also has not been picked.

Of course, there’s a chance one or more won’t return. But none of the nine were definitely expected to be taken in the first round. Most if not all will be gone by the end of round two.
