So where does Manziel go?

Getty Images

With 20 picks gone and Johnny Manziel still available, let’s consider the teams that may take him.

At No. 22, could Eagles coach Chip Kelly resist the guy he recruited at Oregon?

At No. 23, the Chiefs may need a successor to Alex Smith.

The Browns at No. 26 make plenty of sense.

At No. 27, the Cardinals could be tempted to combine the elusive Manziel with the creative Bruce Arians.

By pick No. 29, it could be that the Patriots would trade down and give a team in the second round a chance to get Manziel.

Either way, the clock is ticking.  And Manziel is still sitting.

If someone wants to cut the line in front of Philly and K.C., it’s time to call Ted Thompson.

Won’t get past 26? But Browns could take Carr?

Take Manziel, trade Foles to Andy for a 2nd. Manziel is Chip’s perfect QB. Foles is good, but he can’t bring to the table what Manziel would.

Not watching the draft, is Manziel one of the players there waiting to be picked ?

Is he getting that Brady Quinn kind of expression on his face ?

Manziel will be waiting by the phone until sometime tomorrow. He’s not getting drafted in the first round.

I sure would hate to see this media fabricated player not get millions guaranteed. It’s almost like without outlets hyping him up 24/7 he’d be a middle second rounder at best.

Thank you Ray farmer for bringing excitement not seen since the “chosen one” back to Cleveland! This kid will bring a title to Cleveland by 2015 book it, copy and paste it, I am a prophet and have seen Johnny Cleveland holding the Lombardi for the browns as the MVP of the 2015 Super Bowl. So it is written, so it will be done!!
