Falcons continue line improvements with Ra’Shede Hageman

The Falcons entered the offseason with a mandate to get tougher on both lines.

So far, they’ve done so.

After getting building-block tackle Jake Matthews last night, they came back in the second round with Minnesota defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman with the 37th overall pick.

Hageman will go along with free agent pickups Paul Soliai and Tyson Jackson, giving them a new look up front.

He’s been a productive player throughout, and can play over the nose or play three-technique. That versatility will help in the Falcons’ hybrid 3-4 defense.
