Chiefs sign six, release two others

The Chiefs have joined the parade of teams announcing their undrafted free agent signings and they added a couple of released players to the announcement.

Kansas City is parting ways with fullback Eric Kettani and wide receiver Rashad Ross. Kettani, a graduate of the Naval Academy and a Lieutenant in the Navy reserve, spent time with the Patriots (as seen in the picture accompanying this post) and on Washington’s practice squad before signing with the Chiefs in December. Ross joined the team last November and also spent time with the Titans last year. Neither player has seen any regular season action.

The Chiefs signed Georgia State wide receiver Albert Wilson, Tennessee-Martin linebacker Ben Johnson, BYU safety Daniel Sorensen, Louisiana-Lafayette wide receiver Darryl Surgent, Tennessee State cornerback David Van Dyke and Abilene Christian running back Charcandrick West.

The moves leave the Chiefs with 84 players, so they may have more signings to announce in the coming days.
